Why the CSD still matters after incorporation
Incorporation did not dissolve the district overnight. Assets, contracts and assessments move across on a negotiated schedule, and each of those moves is a board decision with a cost attached to it.
Residents pay for district services through assessments that appear on the property tax bill, which makes this a race with a direct line to household costs.
